Installation of the QuadCruise cruise control is straightforward and takes on average 3-5 hours to complete.
The kit contains everything needed and is suitable for competent diy or ATV dealer installation.
Every kit has a set of detailed installation instructions with plenty of photos and illustrations to guide each part of the installation.
The tools required are found in most toolkits and typically include sockets/spanners, screwdrivers, allen keys, long nose pliers and a flat file.
The kit includes instructions for testing, adjusting, troubleshooting and diagnostics including a full electrical schematic diagram.
Full technical support is provided direct by the manufacturers.
Alterations to the ATV are minimal and where required are easy.
Electrical connection is simply a matter of plugging the cruise control loom into the vehicle’s loom in most cases, as the same type of electrical connectors as those used on the vehicle are provided.
If any alterations to the vehicle loom are required, all terminals for connection are supplied in the kit.
In most cases, electrical components for the speed control are placed in the ATV's luggage locker at the rear of the vehicle. Suitable grommets are provided on the wiring loom to seal any holes cut in the locker.
Though not essential you may find it easier on some models to remove body panels prior to installation to make access easier.
